6mm ARC ELD-X Precision Hunter utilizes efficient, high-BC bullets to deliver supreme performance from the AR-15 platform with the ultimate blend of weight, performance and shootability. This load functions equally in AR-15 platforms as well as short or micro action bolt guns. This ammunition is suitable for all applications from personal defense to match shooting, hunting, and law enforcement. The Heat Shield tip resists the effects of aerodynamic heating and retains its shape to maintain the highest BC over its entire trajectory. With high velocity, 0-400 yard impact, the bullet continually expands throughout its penetration path. With low velocity, 400+ yard impacts, the Heat Shield tip drives backward into the bullet to initiate expansion. Exhibiting controlled expansion with a large mushroom and 85-90% retained weight, the bullet provides deep penetration and large cavities.
